It’s important to look after your jewellery and always have it looking it’s best. Which is why we offer complimentary cleaning on all Michael Wilson jewellery. It is a good idea to get your rings cleaned and settings checked at least once every 12 months.

Of course it’s not always convenient to make it into the gallery. We now have jewellery polishing cloths available for purchase to keep you covered between visits.

Rhodium Plating

When white gold rings are new they are plated with another white metal called Rhodium. White gold is naturally grey in colour, so rhodium plating is used to make white gold appear more white. Rhodium is very white and very hard but it does wear away.
